For years, the phrase “self-made” has echoed in the world of entrepreneurship like a badge of honour. It’s been plastered across magazine covers and glorified in bios, often implying someone built their empire entirely on their own—no help, no handouts, no community. But as a founder, a mother, and someone who’s weathered storms in both life and business, I want to flip that narrative.

Because being self-made isn’t about doing it alone.

The truth? It takes a village. A team. A community. It takes a therapist, a mentor, a friend who reminds you of who you are when you forget. It takes people believing in you before you fully believe in yourself. It takes childcare, long nights, creative pivots, and supportive partners. It takes someone watching your baby while you take a call that could change your business. It takes grace—lots of it.

Being self-made is about making yourself well-made.It’s about tending to your mind, body, and soul. It’s about standing up for yourself, setting boundaries, showing up in your power, and investing in your inner world as much as your outer success. Because when you are good—your business, your team, your family, your entire world becomes better too.

The Self-Made Tour was created with this in mind. It’s not a highlight reel—it’s a real-life community experience for women redefining success on their own terms. It’s a space to grow, to connect, to reset, and to rise. Whether you’re building a business, pivoting careers, returning from maternity leave, or simply craving alignment—this tour is for you.

Self-made is a mindset.

It’s a grounded confidence in who you are becoming. It’s leadership rooted in authenticity, not ego. It’s the knowing that nothing meaningful is ever created alone—but the version of you who shows up for the journey is what makes it sustainable, scalable, and soul-aligned.

So no, I don’t believe in the old definition of “self-made.”I believe in the new wave—where wholeness, community, and personal growth are the foundation of success.

And I can’t wait to build this movement with you.

With love & purpose,
